I built it for my truck, this is my third that I have built by hand...I already see a 4.0 coming on for another spot (that I rarely use) because I love building crap actually...lol


I started with plywood (thin crap)

I cut the size I needed
I added side rails to it so the phone would not slide off. I traced a border around the sides of the panel
I then cut it with my jig saw
I then sunk in the charging panel
used tape (duct tape) to hol the panel in place
then went over it all with a felt sheet, to make it all look good and match the interior a bit

the charger has 3 coils, so if a phone fits in the base I built it will most likely line up
