Default Best Practices for Choosing a Storage Unit

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for advice on selecting a storage unit for personal use. I need something secure, climate-controlled, and affordable. What factors should I prioritize, such as size, location, access hours, or security features?

Are there hidden costs like insurance or administrative fees I should watch out for? Also, how do you decide between indoor versus outdoor units or short-term versus long-term rentals? I’d love to hear personal experiences or recommendations for reputable storage companies.

Any tips on keeping items safe and organized inside the unit would be super helpful.
