Default Bought A New Beast!

Well, traded in the 06 Duramax on a New 2011 F-350 Super Duty Lariat XLT with all the options...

This truck is a frickin beast with 400hp and 800 lb ft of torque. The quality of the vehicle is downright astounding and they honestly have thought of everything. This truck should last a long time

Man that thing looks MEAN! I have to admit as a long time Chevy guy that F250/350 body style change in 1999 (I think) had always done something for me. Congratulations, it makes that GMC look like an S-10 no offense I drive the same truck. I am curious if Ford got the new diesel right this time they have been struggling since they did away with the old reliable 7.3.

Well, from what I've heard, the new 6.7 has been the first engine since the 7.3 to be developed completely in house by ford and has been in development SINCE the 7.3 was taken out of service. The ****ty 6.0 and 6.4 were both Navistar engines.

Why did we go with Ford and not GM? The ford dealer is a better dealer and everything so far is pointing towards the truck being a better truck. Everything seems to be of the highest quality. Plus, the GM dealer is really starting to **** me off

Traitor!!! Just kidding, they all make good trucks and they all have their issues. Hell I even have friends that swear by the 6.5 Chevy Diesel, which IMO is a terd. I drove a 6.0 Ford Diesel for a short time and loved it until the issues started. Some of my Ford friends say once you fix the known flaws you have a hell of a truck. When mine was running right it pulled everything I through at it with ease - including one VERY heavy load. In my opinion if they could put a Cummins with an Allison behind it in a Ford Chassis that would be the ultimate bad ***!!!
