What are the pros and cons of the 3 different types of axle in the front.

Solid axle with the get out and lock the axles.

solid axle with electric lock.

2 half shaft axles.

did i miss any

 

Saves a bit of gas ...you have to get out to use

You dont have to get out

Much better ride...with the actuator in the diff, it saves on gas

BTW, I dont think there is an electric lock on solid axles....they are locked in all the time....I could be wrong
