Default I'm back!

I haven't been on much lately in the last month or so because I've been absolutely swamped by life. Anyways, I just returned from a week in the Outer Banks, NC and I've got some time to think now and I can spend more time on the site.

On a different note, I did pick up a new vehicle pretty cheap. It's a 1989 Isuzu Trooper II 5spd. Great condition and I got it for $1500 so I couldn't pass it up. Now I've got another vehicle sitting around

Here's a few pics of my nice little $1500 beater. 2.6liter 4 banger, 5spd. 190,000 miles. Auto Locking Hubs. New head, gasket, clutchradiator, hoses, ps pump, ws pump, starter, thermostat, etc.

Also has brand new 31" BF Goodrich A/T's with 200 miles on them. Brand new Pads and rotors on all four wheels with less than 500 miles. Rancho 500 Suspension with 1000 miles. Sony CD Player w/ remote and (6) 6" pioneer speakers.

It had been for sale across the street from me for $4000 for awhile, but then he dropped it to $3500 so I decided to go see if I could do some dickering. Turns out it was an original owner who bought it brand new and just drove it up from AZ last year. It's never seen a winter. The guy wasn't hurting for money and the truck had so much sentimental value that he was happy to let it go to me for next to nothing just so he could see it every now and then when I come home and leave and he has the peice of mind of knowing it's going to a good home. I threw in a quarter of beef as well (I raise beef steers), but that doesn't cost me anythign ))

I know it's high mileage and it maybe has 100hp, but it is fun to drive and it's a handy thing to have around. The way I see it, as soon as the motor blows I can drop in a 327 small block; there's enough room!!! I checked
