my other one wants to take a vacation and half *** run
this isnt about my truck its about my car
its an 05 crown vic sherriffs interceptor
long story short i drove my car to work aweek ago and noticed that it wasnt running normal and idles ruff shakes the whole car anyway
yesterday or the day before yesterday cant remember my dang check engine light started spazing out and goin crazy on me it started blinking first time i have ever had one blink at me
so i payed attention to it like it wanted me too i took it to oreillys auto parts and barrowed an ob2 scanner
the car thru 3 codes at me
p0301 cylinder 1 missfire detectated
p0463 fuel level sensor circuit high input which i have known about for almost 8 months need to replace the fuel pump very expensive
and lastley
p2106 throttle acuator control system forced limited power
well i dotn have a clue as to what would cause them codes the only thing i can possibly think of is that it somehow jumped timming on me somehow
or that my number 1 plug is fouled out or bad or the individual coil on the plug is bad

 

I am not a Ford guy but I know those coil packs are known to go bad. I have a real good buddy that is a city mechanic and he helps maintain a fleet of those crown vic's. He is always replacing the coil packs in them.

 

thanks shamrock i think ill get them replaced sometime next week cause that is also one of my suspisions but i still dont know why the throttle actuator control would be forced limited power the only thing i can think of is that the computer is telling it to slow its response down due to the number 1 being bad

well got all my problems fixed with the car and truck today i replaced some fuses in my car and my turn signals work and the ac/ heat works and no more check engine light plus my power steering works great and my speedo and gas guage finally no more problems with any vehical i own
