Default My Fummins Project

Alright Guys, I am new here. I am building a Fummins. I am redoing my 1979 Ford F-150 and doing a Cummins Diesel swap with it. I am having trouble with how I want to reinforce my frame. I need Ideas! Boxing the frame possibly? and putting heavier duty suspension on it? Thanks!!!My Fummins Project-10398679_784602944941760_9188556022077833774_n.jpg

NICE !!! Congratulations on diving into a project like this. You've got your work cut out for you.
I know, I married a 2001 GMC chassis to a 1957 Chev truck.

Boxing the frame is a good idea.. but if you can, I would leave that Cummins on the chassis it belongs on and adapt the 1979 Ford F-150 to that chassis.

This way you are getting the security in knowing the frame won't crack plus the bonus of having a late model ride and braking system

Keep us updated on your project
