Default 2006 Silverado A/C Issue

Ok...I am having some trouble with my A/C. For a while, I could only get it to turn up to 4. When I would turn to 5, it would shut off and I could hear a click from the passenger side of the truck. Now, the A/C will not come on at all, but I can hear the compressor try to kick in when I turn the dial. All of the in cab fuses appear to be fine. Is this a switch or the fan or what? How do I go about fixing the issue?

Thanks!

Had you have the AC serviced lately? I once had a car that it would turn on and shut right back off. They had OVER charged the system so much, there must be a safety switch that would shut it off.

Nevermind. It was the blower motor resistor connector.
