Hello. I just bought a 2006 Tundra quad cab 2 wheel drive SR5. I have never owned a Toyota of any type before. It has 34k miles on it. It seems to be a very nice truck. I was wondering if you guys had any tips, suggestions, advice, or anything else for a new Toyota/Tundra owner? Thanks, Marc.

 

I like the older Tundras.
The 4.7's have decent power and the truck is perfect size IMO.

However I cant seem to think of any problems or things you should watch out for on them.

You are a lucky man, I wish I could trade my old Chevy truck for a 2006 quad cab Toyota pickup.

I have owned Toyota's for many years and they are good vehicles.

I have driven the 2007 with 5.7 liter engine, almost scary with power, but power comes at the expense of gas mileage.
