Default shocks on a 2000 Toyota Tundra

Does anyone know when to change the shocks on a 2000 Toyota Tundra? Any ideas? Thanks!

the shocks are in need of replacing them when the shocks and struts itself are all worn out.

I have an 02 Tundra, and just replaced the stock shock on mine in February of this year. There was no mistake in the fact that the back shocks were riding on the springs. I went with Rancho's and had I known what kind of ride I would get with new shocks I would have changed them long ago. Those Rancho's are fabulous
