Default Something new

OK I got the oil pressure problem fixed. I decided to drop the oil pan to check. Lo and behold there was gunk all in the pickup tube screen and there at the bottom was pieces of my chain guide. Anyway a new question. Should I have pressure blowing from my oil filler cap while idling? I never noticed until tonight. The truck runs fabulous but I just don't want to blow a seal. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

while the cap is off or on. if the cap is off this is a normal thing the gasses go throught your pcv valve when the cap is on and circulate back to the cranck case. its called positive cranck case ventilation.
