I was wondering if anyone had the colored bowties that are optional on the trucks and if they will fit the silverados? You can buy them at dealership parts or not? Thanks for any help

 

I don't know what they use, but everyone I know who has a different color bowtie just painted their own.

I think that jcbst12 painted his bowtie ...send him a PM, I'm sure he'd be willing to help you out.

 

They're getting harder to get your hands on. GM pulled contracts on allowing the aftermarket to make these things. AMI, Lund, Trenz and so on have all stopped making them due to trademark problems.

 

I have a Black Bow Tie i actually got off from Ebay and i had it on my '03 Silverado. Not sure if it would fit Avalanches but i had to oblong 2 holes slightly and it fit on the Silverado like a glove. Very well made too.
