Default Gas Saving Tips

I have a 1995 Chevy S10 with a 4.3L engine and I'm only getting 14mpg. Is there any ideas on how I can make it easier on fuel.

wow, thats pretty low. Are you sure everything is good engine wise? Something could be wrong causing MPG to dwindle

Things that could negatively affect your MPG:

-dirty air filter
-low tire pressure
-clogged fuel filter
-leaking injectors

To improve your MPG even more you could look into things like aftermarket intakes, which do help you squeeze out a few more miles. Also, since it is a pickup, you might also want to consider a tonneau cover. They make the car more stream lined and keeps wind from causing a vacuum pocket in the bed.

A free flowing performance exhaust sytem can increase your gas mileage.

You can also try adding acetone when you fill up. It DRAMATICALLY increases MPG!
