The service engine soon light just came on. Is this something I should worry about? From what I understand, it's only something to do with emission control. How would I go about resetting it? Disconnect the battery cable for a few minutes?

 

you should find out what the code is you could be running lean and thats not good go to auto zone they check it for free

 

As said,it needs to be checked..could be something pretty important,like a misfire
