1. $5000 into Roth IRA (the max will actually be 5000 per yr starting January, Cracker)
2. Take the rest of the $, trade in ur truck and buy a 2009 Camaro..... and then give it to me.
3. I dont care what else you do because I will have a new Camaro!

that might work seeing that at the rate my career planner is going( a granny in delta 88 will go faster on an empty tank) i wont get any of it until then. ive been looking into 6.0l motors and 4l80e trannies, does anyone know anything about the LQ9($3700) from jegs and would my harness and ECU work with it? or Pro Built transmission rebuild kits($700+/-)? as for the STS turbo kits($6500+/-), and if i pick up a tranny froma junkyard for a few hundered, interesting. so a round about estimate would be around $11.5k +/- for the parts total. what can i expect for labor on the swap, rebuild, and dyno tune?

If you had 12k more you could look at this option (last one at the bottom of the page)

I don't see anything when that pops up.

And who'd pay $31,000 for a motor?!

I'd say sell your current truck and get a used Duramax and mod it a little at a time...

Do like the guy with the "turbo truck" did. Buy a crate motor (400 ci or higher) and strap a turbo to it with a performance tranny and rear end and blow everyone out of the water! $20K could pull it off if you have some help.
