Actually after i thought of it, i figured i would let you see a test done. My Tundra being a double cab 4x4 is slower than the RCSB4x2's that run low 5's. But none the less, the torque is still impressive and the 0-60mph the best for a 4x4 pickup.

well not many people can 1. afford to buy the extremely expensive communist made tundra and2. afford to pay for the extremely horrible gas milage. The tundra may be faster than other STOCK trucks but other trucks get way better gas milage and there's alot you can do to them to make them alot faster because GM trucks are american made. And we're in America. The greatest country in the world

wow, someone's got their eyes closed real tight! A list of the top 10 cars with american parts in them included the Toyota Tundra! And my new Tundra gets better mpg's than my 5.3L GMC did! My father rode with me up to the U.P. for a hunting trip in Jan. of this year. I zeroed my computer, and after 3 hours of driving in cold, hilly snow covered hyways, i averaged 18.9mpg's! My father was shocked that my big Tundra with more power than his 5.3L GMC could get that kind of mileage. And, my Tundra was also assembled in Texas, that's in the USA last i heard!

Don't kill me, but statistics show that Toyota has as much Asian vs American parts as domestic trucks. And my truck was assembled in Canada. There is a Tundra plant in Texas. Im a little bitter about that but I just hope the Canadians are at least good at assembly, lol. But I have been shopping around for trucks that are better on gas and there aren't any! Ford is 14, maybe 15.....Dodge, pft should I bother!?.....Yota, yep not even the Tacomas have a better mpg rating unless they are 4 cylinders and I need the 4x4 and cabin space so F*** that! Nissan, well why bother with that, just as expensive but not as good as a yota I would think. But mpg are still around 14 with the eight and about matched my truck with a six. Well I’m confidant I could eat a Titan V6, so no gain there. Tundras alone, well I can't afford anything newer than a 03 unless i forgo the house and savings. And the first series of Tundras didn't appeal to me that much in power or looks.

I do wish Germans made a non-yuppie pickup-pickup (not an SUV) that was for sale in the US. That I would consider buying one later in life when I got my school loans(65K), mortgage(80K) and credit cards(5K) paid off. Why a German truck? Because my uncle collects older Mercedes and they are tough freakin cars, especially the Diesels.

Tundras are run-of-the-mill on gas mileage.

Here is the GM. It isn't far behind:

http://www.edmunds.com/new/2008/toyo...439/specs.html

NOTE:They give the same rating as the 6.0 because of the Active Fuel Management.

This is the NEW averages so this is closer to real life. The average for the GM is 1 mpg higher than the Tundra but the city is the same.

Want to see something scary, look at future projections with fuel costs~!

Yeah 4 years of a good school without mommy and daddy footing the bill will kill you! Its nice to know I make a little more than half each year of what I owe on loans! Freakin BS if you ask me. That was even with a small scholarship and grants. I think its a 100K degree total.
