I just bought an '05 4x4 5.3L, crew cabsilverado and I want to put a lift on it. I fish a lot, so i need something that will do well on rough terrain, I do not want to make it a rock crawler. What brand and type of lift should I check out? I was looking for about 6". Any advise would be great.

What size tires are you thinking about?

 

i know a guy with a superlift and it bounces a lot. rough country lifts are generally cheap but for a reason. other than that pretty much any name brand should be fine.

 

Check through the older posts. I referenced Petersen's magazine on all lifts except Fabtech.
