The other day we were driving our 06 Chevy 1500 4.3 v6 and it decided to die. It will no longer start. We had many people tell us that it was most likely the crankshaft sensor so we replaced that. Then we thought it might be the ICM or the ign coil, so we took the ICM down to Autozone where they said they could test it, of course it tested "bad" so we replaced it and the coil, still nothing. We do have fuel pressure, we checked that early on since we already replaced the fuel pump about 8 months ago.

Incredibly frustrated now...

Any ideas?

 

What did the cap and rotor look like? is the rotor even turning when cranking? Have fixed a lot of 4.3's with the same issue and usually is the cap and rotor.
