09 Silverado rust repair and rust proofing.
I have a project with 2009 Chevy Silverado 3500HD Crew cab Long bed Ex-work truck, it has the duramax diesel and Allison transmission.
It mainly has surface rust https://thatpainter.com/rust-oleum-rocksolid-metallic/ right now from the high way miles removing the paint behind wheels on the lower the fenders/doors. Some small rust starting to forum on the cab corners and rockers, but very minimal, I'm hopin I can remove/fix the rust and then try to prevent it from coming back as quickly with maybe POR15? Want to get some recommendations.
I picked up a replacement bed for it along with a tail gate, so I need to paint them white to match the rest of the truck.
