Default 1986 GMC High Sierra C1500 5.0

Found a 1986 GMC high sierra. Few concerns.

Silver paint in immaculate condition, non-metallic, concerns, history.

Blue interior, was it offered with Silver exterior

86000 miles, how do you tell if it is rolled over.

Large space between headlights typical of 1983 trucks????????

Air conditioning, power windows, Power steering, tilt wheel.

What do you think its worth?????????

Thanks

That truck looks sweet, I bought an 85 about a month ago with a brand new crete 350, power windows locks ect. lifted with 35 in. mtr, and paid 1200 for it. The body of the truck that your looking at is in a lot better shape than mine, and the interior looks pretty mint.

The interior is in fact in pretty good condition, it just needs a good cleaning as you can tell it has been sitting a while. can you look at the headlights and tell me how much distance between the brights and drls. I am also concerned because I ran a carfax and it said in 1999 it was in a motor vehicle accident, in early 2000 it passed emissions tests, and then no miles were put on it until 2007 with 82000, it now has 86000.

Buy it man, that's one sexy looking truck. That front end has always been my personal favorite, over/under headlights with the signals behind the grill just really does it for me.

OK, I finally got around to calling the guy, turns out that he bought it last summer from an older gentleman who did a frame off rotisserie(spelled that wrong) restoration. I also found out that the air compressor is froze, the fuel switch unit is broke, and it in fact has a new350 dropped in it. It all sounded pretty good until I asked him how much. The Jacka$$ wanted $5000 for a 22 year old 2WD truck in need of minor repairs with a new engine I don't even want. Looks like I am back to Craigslist.

In case anyone is wondering what I am looking for:

-1987 or prior
-305 or 266(5.0 or 4.3)
-Good paint(matching)
-minimal to no rust
-regular cab
-shortbox
-pw, pb
