Oh man, I'm an even bigger fan of the 8ft box. I've always wanted a 4x4 standard cab long bed .. it's an unusual combination, but I've always wanted one. With the W/T rubber flooring. And a bench seat. Sliding rear window ... I guess it's kinda weird, but I really really miss my old brown standard cab long bed ... W/T rubber flooring, crank windows, sliding rear window.

My '96 is great, but I guess I have a thing for work trucks. I'd totally put a rubber floor in that truck you have. It would be incredibly sharp. I'd also put the navy blue interior in it with that color combination you already have picked out. I just love chevy trucks ...

Now imagine this truck with a 6.0L and a 4L80

I figured if I avoided the question long enough you might notice I wasn't comfortable giving that info and that you might realize that's kind of a personal.
He was asking $1000 I got it for $800

Well that's a heck of a deal. Really though, in that condition, you got it in at project price. So nice find! What engine are you planning on running?

The 5.0L that's in it is running.. So I will leave it in there for now.
I'm still on the fence, I bought this truck to flip.
My plan was to do this until I've made enough $$$$ to find a sweet deal on
a 57 Chev project truck w/DMax

I don't think I would have put those wheels on that truck. They look strange..

Those rims just reaffirms the fact what this guy did.
He first restored this 57 Chev truck and gave it an extended cab
Then put the 57 chev on a 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500 DMax chassis.
Those are the stock rims.
BUT Yes, they could have been cooler. I hope to do this some day.
