Newbie here.. Hi everyone, my faithful ol’ 88 1500 4x4 needs a new motor. It currently has no smog, computer or any electronics, it’s carbureted, headers and dual exhaust. I would like to put a late 60’s or 70’s motor in it but not sure if it will mate up to my 700R4 tranny. Just seeing if anyone else has gone this or similar route. I’m on a pretty tight budget so money is an object. Thanks.
