I would contact tbi chips to see what they say. You probably need an adjustable pressure regulator with that set-up though. What intake are you running? Are all sensors still in place?

I did a similar swap years ago and I remember I initially had spark plug issues. I was running the wrong ones. Are you running the plugs that are recommended for your truck or for the vortec heads? I can't remember which way I ended up having to go, but I know it was real gutless with the wrong ones in it.

I can't remember but that sounds right, but I would verify just in case. Hopefully TBI chips can get you right. I did mine before the internet had all these forums and never knew about the custom chips needless to say it never ran near at what its potential was. I am not even sure if the custom chips were even around. If I remember correctly it was in 99 or 2000.

i think i may have found part of the problem with the engine there are bubbles in the radiator and the radiator builds pressure with just a few minutes of running the engine is missing bad at idle its not running hot there is no water in the oil so i dont understand it the engine has about 150 miles on it and never ran hot

hey,I have a tiny leak at the fitting in the rear of the intake manifold where the quick connect for the heater hose is,I have all the parts in hand, but was wondering what to do if that fitting breaks off in the manifold.Im told by the dealer parts guy that almost always happens
