i have a 1994 cheyenne 350. My 4wd will shift into gear but it will not engage i have looked all through my Haynes manual and am at a lost for what the problem is. It snowed heavily yesterday and i am afraid to drive it without my 4wd

Is it push button? There may be a relay in the case not responding. Check for loose wire first. I don't have much else to offer. Check back tomorrow afternoon and you should have additional replies.

 

does the 4wdlite come on?..if not,its likely the actuator is out...but there are other possibilities also
