I am wondering what would be the best exhaust for my 1996 Z71, with a 5.7 Liter Vortec V8. I am wanting a deep "throaty" sound, something with personality and I want it LOUD! I need something that will be heard in the cab and not die out at 65 mph! Please help and send something quickly!!

 

Well you can run Flowmaster Mufflers make sure they run a H-pipe.
I would take off the Cats too.

 

yeah drop the cat, asap that will give you allot fo sound, flowmaster 40 series is your best bet for performance exhaust with tone, but going to a true dual exhaust will do allot more, make sure to get an equlaizer in.......just know you might have to cheat the o2 sensor and better not have emissions laws that are checked cause missing the cat will set them off.
