Default 1998 Chevy Frontend

I have a 1998 Chevy 1500 with a 124000 miles with a bad outer tie rod end. Should I just replace the broken piece or should I replace the entire frontend? Any recommendation on a source for parts, there is a complete package on ebay for about 150. Any advice would be appreciated.

Personally I say while your down there do the whole thing, but thats just me. If your not planning on keeping the truck long or if your budget doesn't allow then thats a different story, but if it was a truck I planned on keeping I would go ahead and spend the extra time and money and check the whole front end off the list of things that will need repair.
