I have a 1998 K1500 4x4 5.7 extended cab. I just bought it used and the driver and passenger side door lock switches do not work however the keyless entry does unlock/lock both doors. How can I test the switches? I've looked at the drivers side switch and the assembly contains both the two power window switches and the power locks switch. I'm guessing the bottom wire harness is for the locks switch...but there are 5 wires...which wires to test and bypass the switch so I know where the issue is.

I'm guessing the switches are the problem since I already took apart the side mirror adjusting switch. It had corrosion on the contact plates. Probably got rained on a few too many times.

Well....it sounds like everything works as far as relays and lock motors...I dont have a wiring diagram in front of me but if i remember right all the power for all the locks runs through the drivers side multi switch best bet is to find a diagram
