Does anyone know the procedure to disable the automatic locks on a 99? Wouldn't be a big deal if they'd unlock when I shut off the ignition. It's drivin me crazy! Any help would be appreciated.

My trucks an '03 and they auto unlock as soon as i put the truck in Park.

 

i have a 2000 once u turn the ing. off pull the key out a little bit they should unlock

 

Mine stays locked too. It drives me nuts, but its kind of funny when the girlfriend goes to get out when I park and runs into the door. Lol. I don't mind it so much now!

 

I have an 01 and im used to it now, but it still drives my wife nuts. I have learned now to unlock the door for her so i dont have to hear her say something about it.

 

There is a program built into the system that allows you to change the auto lock as well as auto unlock. It should be listed in you manual. You have to turn the key to "acc" or "run" twice, then press the door lock button in a secret pattern while jumping on one foot and rubbing your head.

 

my manual says "see dealer" I called the dealer and they said "I dunno".

but if I pay them $85 an hour they would figure it out for me
