I have been getting a hard shift in my transmission from 1-2 and 2-3 after long drives and the p1870 error code comes up. I had this problem last summer and put a new trans fillter and fluid in and the problem hadnt occured again until a week ago. I have reasearch other forums and come across this kit, 4L60E 4L65E 1996-2006 1870 P1870 CODE BUSTER UPDATE KIT | eBay
I was wondering what you guys think of it, will it work and fix the problem, and is it for a good price. I am mechanical incline and try to do all my own work, would i be able to instal this kit in my garage, and do i need any special tools or need a shop to do any work.

I've never heard of this ebay kit.. but I have a couple of questions.
Are you getting a code?
When you did the fluid and filter last time. Did the tranni tech tell you what your tranni problem was?
