2001 gmc levling kit questions...
im new to this forum, and i was wondering what kind of levling kit i should get, just like 2-4 inche lift. also with getting that kit i was looking at the american racing mojave black rims in 17s and getting BFG 31" tires for it. i was wondering where the cheapest prices are for rims/tires, and if it is a good setup at all

Well the best sites to find some good rim/tire combos are tirerack.com and wheelsnext.com . As far as a lift goes, no company is really gonna be any better than another. I'd just pic up an issue of Truckin' magazine off the magazine stand and flip through it till you find some suspension advertisements. They have some good deals on both suspension parts and rim/tire combos in those mags.
And if you were hoping someone would do the work of finding this all for you I'm sorry to disappoint.

actually i really wasnt looking for some one to do all the work for me. i have been researching through magazines and online alot looking for the best deals and learning more about trucks every day. i just need some one to point me in a good direction.
Levelling kit-try cranking up the torsion bar first. Any leveling kit will just have a torsion bar key, which will allow you to crank up the bars more. Then you can just add-a-leaf to the rear if you want. WIll make the ride stiffer.
www.carmodifier.ca is good for tires/rims in canada

First I must say I am not affiliated, in any way, with with them, but would suggest 4wheelparts.com. They seem reasonable enough. They'll send you a catalogue for free and you can always search the web for better priceswhen you find something you like.
If you wanted 4" of lift in the front, Springtech 4" lift spindles IMO. I don't have them, but I'm going to get them eventually. For 2" I would suggest Daystar 2" coil spring spacers. If you wanted 3" of lift in the front, Rough Country makes 3" lift spindles. If you go with 3" or 4" lift spindles, you'll need something like 2" lift blocks for the back.
EDIT: intended for Polish

if your wanting to lift it and level it at the same time id go with a 3 or 4 in lift spindle then either nothing in the back or a 2 in blocks at the rear. you wont be able to the torsion keys since its a 2wd. the only other option would be to get a 3 in body lift but it wont level the front out to the back.
