I have a 98 ram 1500, i bought it used and it already had a small lift on it, im told the truck was built with a stock lift on it. I want to lift it even more, maybe another 3 inches or so. I was just going to do a body lift but im worried if i try to lift the body more it will mess up spacing from the trans and things attached under the truck. So my question is can i do a body lift on a truck that already has a stock lift on it? and if not what are my other alternatives. If you can help please let me know

 

What kind of lift does it have? Body or suspension? A body lift you have to be concerned with your steering rod and your shifter rod. If it's already got a body lift on it, then I would go with a suspension lift.

Another thing you should look into is a leveling kit. That will raise the front to even it out with the back and make it look taller.
