Ive got a 01 sierra and just recently it does not like to start. I jump in and turn the key and she turns over but does not fire. If I let off the key ands try again it fires right up. It only does this when I havent driven her for a while. If I stop and run in somewhere and come back out when she is warm she fires right off. Any suggestions?

 

Sounds like a FUEL PRESSURE REG LEAKING....on the left side of the engine,take the vacuum hose off and see if it has gas in it

 

I have the same issue with my 01 sierra. Sometimes it takes 3 trys to start up. Will check the fuel pressure reg tomorrow.....
