Default 2003/2500 alignment problems(2wd longbed)

This is a head scratcher! I was out heading thru the mojave desert and hit a unmarked dip every hard and bent a tie rod end. I limped it in and bought a new tie rod end and eyeballed it with a tape measure, and brought it back home. I drove this truck for 6 plus months this way and the front tires had some irregular wear. I took it to a shop and had the other tie rod changed and did a alignment on it. It looked good when I picked it up. I made it a few blocks and it was driving funny. I got out and the camber was way way off. I took it back and it was put back on the rack and the cast/camber was perfect along with the toe in also. We took it to another shop and they replaced the pitman, stabilzer and everything is tight. it's perfect on the rack drive it and the cast and camber is way off. This is a very reputable shop and they many fine mechanics looking at it and they are all scratching their heads. The camber DID not do this until it went on the rack. they have checked for loose/bent crossmembers everything is tight. You take it on the road and the tires lean way in at the top. Put it back on the rack and it's perfect they go back to perfectly straight up and down. Torsion bars are set to spec's, A-arms good, all bushings are tight, left and right sides do exactly the same thing. I was told this was a FORD chacacteristic not GMC. They have never seen a GMC do this.
