I have an '03 Silverado 4X4 w/ the 4.8L V-8 and i have a chance to get some tires like new in condition but i believe they are like 285X75X16. The tires on it are 265X75X16. Will the 2 sizes bigger affect anything except maybe the wheel speed sensor/speedometer? Truck has 97,000 miles on it and runs pretty decent, don't want to do anything to mess it up. A buddy of mine has them and he's trying to help me out but i can get tires that are the correct size stated above for like $120 ea. M&B. Please lets hear some input. Thanx, Jim

 

I have 285/75/16's BFG all-terrains on mine but mine is an 01, although it shouldn't really make a difference i don't think.
