Default 2004 1500 Changing Wheel Bearing Hub Assembly

On the good old 80's, 90's, etc. vehicles, the dust cover is VERY simple to just pry off. On my 2004 Silverado 1500, it does not seem to have a lip on it to pry from. Am I missing something or do I just need to keep trying to beat screwdriver in under it?

Also, are there any land mines that I should be aware of when changing the hub and bearing assembly?

Thanks a bunch and have a safe Holiday weekend everyone.

If you go on Ebay, etc. and look the "wheel bearing assembly" is shown as one part. I'm guessing that the whole assembly is swapped out. Not like the old days of repacking bearings anymore. Just R&R like the chimps at the stealership. RT

Thats a very simple process, kinds expensive but simple. the dust cover is bolted on with 2 bolts on the back side. Its not like when you could repack or replace a bearing you need the whole hub and usually (from experience) once you do one spend the money and do the other side. Do you have a 4x4 or 2x4?
