Default 2004 overheating

My truck keeps overheating although I can't see any anti freeze leaking out of it. Could the thermostat be stuck?

What is your temperature gauge reading? Do you have enough coolant in it? Is your fan turning properly or is it turning slowly? If it is turning slowlythe fan clutch could be bad. Do you smell antifreezewhen the truck is at proper operating temperature?Have some one pressure test the system is another thing you could have done. Look at all the simple stuff first to narrow down what it cold be.

Yes, there is enough coolant. It overheats almost immediately, up to 210 (before I shut it off.) Where is the thermostat, anyway? Looked at it quickly yesterday, but it was about 15 deg out so didn't linger, and couldn't even find the thermostat to check it. Will check out the fan. Can't smell antifreeze.
