Default overheating

I have a 2002 2500hd. When I have my plow on I cannot exceed 40 mph or so without the temp rising sharply. I usually stop so as not to overheat. Others have told me this is a typical problem and have been told to lower the plow and tilt just so to maximize the air flow. I have been thinking of maybe a booster fan of sorts or even some kind of air scoop. Anyone else experience this?Any suggestions would help.

With all the snow we get here this issue is very common. Usually we....

just kidding, we get a total of 10 snow flakes a year. In fact if we get any snow at all the city pretty much gets shut down. Good luck though.

Upgrade your radiator? Also what kind of oil are you using? When I got my truck about a year ago it overheated because of the texas heat wave and I started running Mobil 1 in it and the truck has never over heated since then. On the radiator suggestion look for a radiator cooler.
