Somehow my CD player has eaten my CD and I cannot get it out for anything. I can see the CD but of course can't get it out or I wouldn't be positing.

The rest of the stereo is under power. The stereo has a tape player also that is working. I'd rather not go through a Dealership to at least get the CD out.

I'm looking at putting a GMC 6 CD changer stereowithout a tape player in from a 2005 Sierra Z71 but can't find if the two dashes are compatible. I have the part # for the Z71 stereo but no way to find out if the two fit!

all the cd players are the same fitt for all the gm trucks w/that interior...it'll fit like a glove

 

I have a 2006 and it ate my cd yesterday. I hit the top of the dash a couple times and it slid out. I have extended warranty with no deductible, so I am just going to take it in.
