2007 gmc sierra classic 4x4 1500 air dam

Default 2007 gmc sierra classic 4x4 1500 air dam

Can i take the 3inch air dam at the bottom of my front bumper off without hurting my fog lights and tow hooks? thanks

P.S. loving this truck 5.3 slt

Yeah man i don't think your gonna hurt anything as long as your careful taken it off. Don't just yank it off or something. Why do you wanna take it off, if you don't mind me asking. I think it might look a little strange with your fog lights and tow hooks just hanging there.

Thanks for the reply. The manual shows how to remove it for off road driving. I want to remove it for more aproach clearance. The tow hooks and fog lights are still enclosed in the bumper. I spoke to the dealer they said i can leave it off that it was an option that is not on all models.

I didn't realize you had an 07 model where the fogs and stuff are in the bumper, i was thinking the older models like mine where the fog and hooks are mounted in that air dam. My mistake.
