I have a 09 silverado with a 4.8 v8
I put the Knn filtercharger kit on it. It keeps throwing the check
engine light. Long story short. Knn says certain 4.8 motors are having
this issue, and refunded my money.
Its throwing a lean code on the left bank. Knn has no solutions,
anyone else having this problem or find a solution?

The new set ups nowadays are much more sensitive to upgrades. Back then the computer would compensate and adjust on its own. But this wouldn't be something a tune couldn't fix.

 

I was thinking the same thing. But my truck only has 17K and
is still under factory warranty. Would a tune void the warranty?
And where do you get something like that done?
