The first one is hideous, the second not so bad except looks like it took cues from the Ford, crazy offroad version they put together(damn nice truck too). Either way, I don't like new vehicles so I won't be buying one. Lol

I like the second concept truck. I like they are bringing back the stamped
Chevrolet Tail Gate. The tail pipes are cool
I like the truck

I prefer the 1999-2002 Chevy, and the 2003-2006 GMC.

Regarding the latest body style 2007-1/2 to present, I prefer the front end of the GMC over the Chevy. I just can't warm up to the chopped up front fascia on the new Chevy. It doesn't "flow" together. Mainly, I guess I balk at the bisected grill and the big square pods at the lower outside ends where they mount the "driving lights".
In my opinion, the GMC version looks more sculpted, more aerodynamic. I like the unbroken look of it. The GMC big mouth grill has always looked more aggressive to me, too.

As a result, I have a 2000 Silverado and a 2008 Sierra, lol

Personal preferences... It's one of the things that makes us "individuals".

Default 2012 body style

I ordered a 2012 a couple of weeks ago and there is no change to any of the tooling of the truck. I was talking with the sales manager when I ordered and he told me they just had a meeting with their GM rep. and they were told any changes were two or three years away.

I've owned a 1989, 1998, 2007(current and first new truck off the lot) and soon to have my 2012. Personally I didn't like any of the body styles between 1998 and 2007.

Not to worry, all concept vehicles always look terrible. I highly doubt that this truck will do well on the market even if they did release it. Chances are, GM will end up hurting themselves more by releasing this truck, than releasing another truck with the current body style.

My favorite body style is 89-97 - the boxy type look.

Oh well hell. I'd say my favorite body style was 49-51. I'd love to see either GM or Ford release a retro style pickup but keep it the old traditional stylings with all the modern setup. I still can't wrap my heart around the new Camaro but love the Mustang and Challenger.

Mr Dragon i would have to agree with you about gm ford or hell even dodge or plymouth coming out with a retro pickup i think it would be awsome to see a 2012 or even 2013 49-51 chevy truck style with a newer more powerfull chevy engine

i do not like the way the new camaro looks im sorry to say that but to me it looks more like a corvette with a modern day twist on all the camaro designs
i knwo it was ment to be all the gens of camaros in one but come on the first gen were the best body styles ever
and for the dodge challenger it is a close resembalance to its ansestor but i dont like how boxy the thing looks it just doesnt have the curves the original did

i really dislike the charger concept dodge came out with it looks nothing like the chargers i grew up drewling over in hot rod mag or the other car magazines
and why did they go with 4 door really dodge never made a 4 door charger if i can remember corectly
but enaugh with my ranting

i would drive the truck in the second picture with pride the one that looks the most bada** kinda like a baja 1000 truck but not
