22" rims with 45 series tires
Hi forum members.
I currently have a 2000 Chevy Silverado extended cab short bed 1500. I installed a 5"/7" DJM lowering kit about 5-6 years ago and have been running it on 22" rims with 30 series tires. I have been going through tires about once a year, bending rims, and popping tires off the bead. I am thinking about installing a 2"/4" Bell Tech lowering kit and running 22" rims with 45 series tires. However, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if 22" rims with 45 series tires will fit with the truck being lowered 2" in the frint and 4" in the rear? If not, will 22" rims with 40 series tires work? My other option is to run 20" rims with a 50 or 55 series tire. Your suggestions are much appreciated.

RE: 22" rims with 45 series tires
Id like to give you a seuggestion, but its too hard and no manufacturers of drop kits wont give me any information on wheel fitment with drop kits, the best thing to do is find a guy who has the drop done, whether its a belltech drop or not, and measure the clearence and everything like that.... you get my email?
