3500 dually gearbox wont shift

3500 dually gearbox wont shift
Hi a friend of mine has inported a diesel 3500 chevy dually to the uk . the gearbox works fine until it has been driven for a while then it wont shift up just gets stuck in third. anyone got any ideas
