Price check please...
Hello all... looking to get into my first truck. I've found one local that I like, but i'd like to get some of ya'lls views on the prices before making an offer.
Realistically, what should I offer to buy this for? Pretty much... if I sold it today, what would it bring in. The seller is asking 16500, but says he has some wiggle room.
Thank you, Brien

Thats a nice looking truck. It's hard to put a resale value on all the extra's because unfortunately you do eliminate alot of buyers once you do that. So if you were looking to fix a truck up just like that you would have to put your own value on it. The truck in stock form would probably sell for around 13K-14K depending on how clean it is. It looks to be in extra clean condition. Obviously all the work that has been put into the truck has to be worth at least a couple grand (I am talking resale I know there is more than that in it) I would say anything under $15,500 would be a good deal for someone who was planning on buying one and fixing it up the way it is already done. Just my opinion.

Very true regarding the limited audience once I want to sell. If I was to purchase a stock truck, in the end it would probably look like this. A simple, clean look, with wheels and a lower.
I'm going to come at a lower offer than 15.5 and see where it goes.
Thanks!

Cool, let us know if you get it. I would like to see some more pics of that thing. I have always thought about lowering my 1500HD. They look bad ***! I had an 2005 crew cab 1500 that I bought new and immediately took it to the rim shop and put a set of 22's on it and just lowered the rear with some shackles. I got more compliments on that damn truck with just doing that it was amazing. Definitely my taste!
