4.3 to pre 85 350 swap

Default 4.3 to pre 85 350 swap

Soo i pulled out my motor on my truck. The motor mounts have plates and are staggered. What do i have to do or buy to get this 350 in there.

It is the first gen 350. Please help

well you can weld in some new but used motor mounts from a truck that had a 350 in it
but also be carful as you may not have alot of clearance with the oil pan and bottom half of the motor may hit your suspension parts
anyway you can also buy the mounts for the 350 and fabricate them in your blazer i do know that some blazers came with a 350 stock from the factory dependant on what year it is
more info would be greatly apriciated

My truck is a 91 k 1500 w/t. It is the base model soo it came with a 4.3.
But it is a full size truck. Sorry that was not stated in the above post.
With that been said has any one done this swap b4.

If possible, go back to where you got the donor motor. Ask for the mounts, tranny & its mount & rearend.

Ooops. I didn't read that you were putting an old style 350 into your '91 body. You may still be able to use the old truck's tranny though. Check TransDapt for parts & accessories.
