Default 4 Wheel Drive issue..Please help

I was driving my son's Silverado today and in either the Auto or 4 High settingat speeds of 25mph and over the front right wheel seems to have locked up causing the tire to squaul and pull the truck to the right. It drives fine in 2 wheel drive so I assume there is a problem in the front right. Any ideas? I am selling it and hope it isn't an expensive fix.

Work it in and out of 4wd a couple of times. Keep doinfg this and see if it gets any better. Sometimes the grease will settle and make the hubs stick.

When was the las time the front end was serviced? Like grease, fluid check/change, etc...

When you say, locking up, to you mean it doesn't want to turn?

i literally just went through this. my truck was doin the exact same thing. go to dry pavement, have someone watch the truck. put it in 4 hi, and just goose it alittle, i would almost bet you have excessive movement from the right tire. it will almost look like your gonna snap a tie rod end, easy fix, just do both inner and outter tie rod ends if its the case. about a 80 dollar fix if you only want to do the right side.
