in my 1988 c2500 when I engage the 4wd the front drive shaft is turning but the front wheels are not locking I have checked the fuse and it is ok.. There are 5 wires going into to diff. 2 have power. Should I have power on any of the other 3 or are they even related to the problem Any ideas on the problem.

see if power is getting to the front axle actuator...seen a bunch of those bad
