Wanting to buy an '89 (or older) to '90 Suburban. I know they are great for towing, and i know they have lots of room. Safety is my only concern though. Do any '89 or '90 Suburbans have ABS brakes or safety air bags in them? If not, can they be custom installed and how much would that cost?
I love the classic look and feel of the old suburbans, and i would love to be able to buy one and make it a little safer. It can also lower my insurance i bet.

 

Neither have air bags and I don't know about an after market system for them. The 90 had rear ABS when in 2WD.
