Default 95 Break Booster. What a miserable job.

Just purchased a 3/4 ton 4x4 cheyenne, 115,000 miles. 4L80 tranny. Seller said it just needed the breaks bled. Needed a new brake booster. What a miserable job is that. You have to hang upside down in the, well you get the idea. I also replaced the steering linkage. I couldnt get the Pitman arm all the way up on the steering box. I broke a Discount Auto 1/2 inch drive 3" extension and a Sears 4" extension. I only weigh 200lbs. didnt think I had it in me. Pitman arm is a miserable job also.

Working on cars can suck no matter what, but at least mechanics get better tools of the trade. I found out the hard way that most Craftsman tools don't hold up too well when abused everday.

I have a MAC-Tools ratchet and socket set with two ratchets, both long and short sockets, metric and standard, impact and standard all included 3/8" drive and spent over $500 on it, and that was considered a DEAL! Lol, now that Im not working in a garage anymore Im tempted to sell it but everything works so well that I never use my other sockets and ratchets anymore. So its kinda worth it if you consider there is a slim to nill chance you'll break something in the middle of a job.

Argon, whoever sells you snapon should get looked into on prices. Ive bought 3 3/8 drive ratchets this year to update my older ones, and they were 90 bucks each, one long handle, and 2 standard length.

Yeah but even in their catalog it states (or at least it used to) that prices may vary. Not to mention they have a few different stlyes of ratchets.

Craftman - the only tools you can find broken and buried and trade it for a brand new one. I think Snap-On has a similar warranty if maybe a little more stringent.
