Default 96 chev silverado not starting

I have a 96 chev silverado and i have a problem. 3 weeks ago the fuel pump went out so i switched it out and went on with life. Now 2 days ago I drove it for a while and even let it run for 15-20 min while I waited then I went and filled it up at the gas pump I t had a 1/4 tank before I filled it up. I left andwent around the block and it started to sputter and the died got it started made it to the stop sign and it died again got it started and hauled butt home got it in the drive way died restarted and sputtered for 3-4 sec. died would not restart you turn the key and the fuel pump made a loud grrrr sound for like three or four times i did it the it sounded normal and still does so i changed fuel filter still wont start I pulled a plug wire and it has spark when trying to start. any help is greatly appreciated Thanks

hmm well i would bleed the gas line a hair and make sure it is pressuring up, should it have pressure you are fine, then go from there, i would do the small things like check out all your plugs, and wires, i would also look at your injectors, i know it may take a while, but i have heard of trucks doing this, and it turned out to be clogged injector screens. if it is neither of these let me know, and we'll go from there.

You're right on the money BigTex!! Start from the basics then work your way up. If it is wires, or even worse injectors, what better time to "upgrade" to gain more performance!! Good luck man and let us know if you need anymore help.
